Using a tripod as rear support is janky and can be difficult, BUT can be enormously stable when employed appropriately with good supporting equipment.
Being stable is one thing, watching an impact is another... The LVG Tripod Wedge is the soft and practical medium between your solid chassis and the solid tripod.
Our Wedge does not get in the way when shooting prone.

The LVG Tripod Wedge attaches to your rifle stock or chassis via either the adjustable elastic bungee cords, or double sided Velcro straps, or a combination of both if required.
The stow away fill funnel allows you to adjust the amount of fill, creating a firm, supple or soft interface between the chassis and tripod.
The Wedge has been deliberately designed to be a scalene triangle, with uneven sides that interface perfectly with tripod legs set at varying angles.
